Bianca Blum

Part-Time Project Coordinator

Bianca Blum is the Project Coordinator for the Changing Structures of Islamic Authority Project. Reporting to Professor Masooda Bano, she provides administrative support and coordination to the team and for the project’s day-to-day running. She is also a member of the University’s Research Ethics and Integrity Team. Before joining Oxford University in 2017, she worked at the University of Freiburg as a Research Assistant within the CRC 1015, and co-founded the online journal Muße. Ein Magazin.

Bianca holds a PhD in Slavonic Studies from the University of Freiburg, where she focused on women, leisure, and idleness in 19th-Century Russian Literature, and an MA in Slavonic Studies and East European History from the University of Cologne.
